You Don’t Have Time?

This familiar statement is the result of a misunderstanding of time and is untrue in ALL instances. From the point of entry into the world to the moment of expiration, all a person has is TIME; 24-hours, 1,440-minutes, 86,400 seconds per day. So, how are you made to believe a lack of “time” is your problem?

In reality, having enough time is not the issue; it’s about a management of SELF in the allocation of the time you have. This is where the problem lies for most people. If you somehow believe you do not have enough “time”, you subconsciously concede to that way of thinking, which negatively influences your activity. Therefore, you lower your daily self-expectations and never live up to the full potential of what can be accomplished in a complete 24-hour period. It then becomes impossible to believe in the probability of living a better than good life because, in your mind, you are convinced it takes too much time.

It’s interesting how the “I don’t have time” excuse generally is in response to things that are beneficial, profitable in some way, requires self-discipline and commitment or is given to our growth and development. Yet time seems to typically be there for the ridiculous, unnecessary, unprofitable or things with little to no value added. Therefore, when someone says, “I don’t have time”, I immediately hear, “I lack self-management” of the time that could be allotted to do X, Y, Z. Now, think for a moment. If you were to admit THAT, every time you attempted to say, “you don’t have time”, a number of things in your life would begin to change. You are likely to assume more control of how your time is allocated as you start to finally realize its true value.

Keep in mind, the most successful people in the history of mankind, reached all of their major milestones within the SAME time construct (24-hours a day), just with a healthier perspective. In the end, it’s NOT about “time”, it’s about YOU and how you choose to spend your time currency. Thanks a bunch for taking the TIME to read this message. Hopefully, it was time well spent.
